A* Admissions ESAT mock platform
Last updated: 19 August 2026
1. About this platform
This platform provides independent ESAT-style mock practice from A* Admissions. It is not an official Pearson, UAT-UK, Cambridge or Imperial admissions test product and is not endorsed by those organisations.
2. Account access
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. Access is for the named student account only and must not be shared with other students.
3. Mock attempts
- Unless stated otherwise, each paid component includes one official scored attempt.
- Starting a timed module reserves or consumes that attempt.
- Leaving, refreshing or closing the browser may still count as an attempt once the timed module has begun.
- Exam day simulation requires the included component attempts to be unused.
- Expired attempts may be finalised using the answers saved before the timer ended.
- If A* Admissions grants a repeat attempt, it uses the same questions. Its result is retained separately and labelled as a repeat attempt, but it is not directly comparable with an unseen first-sight attempt.
- Repeat attempts are not currently offered as a self-service purchase. A genuine technical failure may be reviewed separately.
4. Protected content
Questions, diagrams, answer options, feedback and analytics are provided for your own ESAT preparation. You must not copy, screenshot, record, upload, publish, sell, share or redistribute protected mock content. Timed screens may include your email address as a visible watermark to discourage redistribution.
5. Payments, vouchers and access
Payments are processed through Stripe. Voucher codes may grant free or discounted access and can be limited by student, product, expiry date or number of uses. If you already have equivalent access, a voucher may not add further value or additional attempts.
Refund and cancellation policy
- If you change your mind before starting any official timed attempt included in the purchase and before supply of the protected digital content begins, contact A* Admissions promptly to request cancellation and a refund.
- Before an official timed attempt can start, you must expressly request immediate supply of the protected digital content before the end of the 14-day cancellation period and acknowledge that you lose the 14-day right to cancel that purchase when supply begins. This is subject to your statutory rights.
- Once an official timed attempt included in a purchase, including a repeat attempt, has started, that purchase is normally non-refundable because protected content has been accessed and an attempt has been reserved or consumed.
- A* Admissions may make an exception at its discretion for a genuine platform fault or extenuating circumstances. Contact us with the account email, purchase details and a short explanation so the request can be reviewed.
- This policy does not limit your statutory rights where content or services are faulty, misdescribed or not supplied with reasonable care and skill.
The platform records the acknowledgement version and a server timestamp when the official timed attempt starts. A student can download a copy of the acknowledgement from the dashboard before starting and from the results page afterwards. The current acknowledgement version is digital-content-cancellation-v1-2026-07-28.
Approved refunds are processed manually through Stripe to the original payment method. Any access granted by the refunded purchase may be revoked.
Advanced ESAT Practice Bank
- The launch bank contains 90 original questions: 30 each for Mathematics 1, Physics 1 and Mathematics 2. Active access lasts for 12 months from successful payment and includes accepted additions or corrections made to this bank during that period.
- Practice Bank questions may be repeated. Submitted practice sets and answer history remain attached to the named student account while access is active.
- The Practice Bank is flexible revision practice, not an official timed mock. Its feedback and question history should not be treated as an official ESAT score or prediction.
- Before Practice Bank checkout, you must separately request immediate supply of the protected digital content and acknowledge the effect this has on the 14-day cancellation right, subject to your statutory rights. The current acknowledgement version is advanced-practice-bank-immediate-supply-v1-2026-08-18.
- As a voluntary policy, A* Admissions will normally consider a refund requested within 14 days only if no Practice Bank answer has been submitted and no protected answer feedback has been revealed. For a combined Practice Bank and four-mock purchase, none of the included mock attempts may have started. Duplicate charges, genuine faults, extenuating circumstances and statutory rights are considered separately.
6. Feedback and tutoring
Results and feedback are intended to support revision. They are not a guarantee of any official ESAT score, admissions outcome or university decision. Any tutoring or feedback lesson is separate from the automated mock platform unless explicitly included.
7. Acceptable use
You must not attempt to bypass payment, entitlement, attempt limits, timing controls, watermarking, account security or server-side marking. You must not attempt to access another student's data or protected paid papers without permission.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the platform available and to preserve saved progress, but online services can be affected by browser issues, network failures, service outages or maintenance. If a genuine technical fault affects a paid attempt, contact A* Admissions so it can be reviewed.
